Meet an astronaut at AerospaceFest, a science festival for all ages, filled with aviation and space adventures! See the new planetarium show “Take Flight”, try flight and shuttle simulators, build cool stuff with Raytheon engineers and PMI – NH tinkerers, experience the Marvels of Motion with Mad Science of Maine, talk to the folks at the top of Mount Washington, where the observatory records some of the wildest weather in the world, look through telescopes at sun spots and solar flares, cheer on this year’s Alex Higgins Memorial Space Camp scholarship winners, and meet Colonel Rick Searfoss, USAF, ret., NASA Space Shuttle pilot and commander – and a Portsmouth NH High School graduate! Our Countdown Cafe will have regular cafe fare and a special cookout menu just for the festival.
Cost – $15/adults, $13/students & seniors, $10 children 3 – 12, free for members and for kids under 3.
